Speaker: Valerie Kinkaid, Vina GSA Legal Counsel. 

Join the Vina Groundwater Sustainability Agency for a lunchtime webinar exploring the legal landscape of groundwater recharge in the Vina subbasin.  The Vina GSA was awarded grant funding to conduct specific projects and studies, including recharge feasibility and field investigations.  A related task in the grant is a Legal Implications of Recharge Analysis to help assess and address legal implications associated with actively managing recharge in the Vina Subbasin. 

Attorney Valerie Kincaid will provide an overview of the issues and a sense of the scope and timeline ahead to complete this task in the grant.

This work is supported through Sustainable Groundwater Management (SGM) grant funding awarded to the Vina GSA by the Department of Water Resources.
